This item is a digital sewing pattern that will help you handcraft a felt (or felt and fabric) chicken in an eggshell as an embellishment, ornament or soft toy.

This tutorial comes as a PDF file (4.64 MB) with all the instructions and patterns needed for this project. The pattern is provided in three ready-to-print sizes:
* Small size pattern that will make a chicken measuring approximately 2 7/8” tall x 2 1/4” wide (7.3 cm x 5.7 cm), the perfect size for a brooch project.
* Medium size pattern to make a chicken that measures 4” tall x 3” wide (10.1 cm x 7.6 cm) approximately. This piece can be used as an embellishment or an ornament to decorate a garland, lamp, purse, key chain, doorknob, piece of garment, Christmas tree etc.
* Large size pattern to make a chicken soft toy that measures 7” tall x 5 3/8” wide (17.8 cm x 13.6 cm) approximately.
The instructions given in this tutorial apply for the embellishment, the ornament and the soft toy versions, with only small variations that will be explained in detail.

-Twenty-seven pages with more than 65 digital images to make each step easy to follow and understand
-Instructions that will take you step-by-step through the handcrafting process in the easiest way possible

To make this chicken you will need some sewing and embroidery skills and a few materials and tools like felt, embroidery thread, scissors, felt glue, sewing needles etc. If you make a felt/fabric piece you will also need cotton fabric and fabric iron-on adhesive.
